This policy explains what information MotionKit (“MotionKit”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. MotionKit is an independently operated product. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@motionkit.co.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address, a password (stored securely as a hash by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and a display name derived from your email.
• Library activity: the specs and prompts you save to your account.
• Subscription: your plan and status. Payments are processed by Polar — we do not collect or store your card or payment details.
• Contact form: the name, email, and message you submit if you reach out.
• Automatically: basic, aggregate analytics (such as pages viewed and device/browser type) and standard server logs.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, create and manage your account and subscription, respond to support requests, and improve MotionKit. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that help us run MotionKit, and only as needed:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (your account and saved data).
• Polar — payment processing and Merchant of Record for Pro subscriptions.
• Resend — delivering messages from the contact form.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.

International transfers

These providers may process your information on servers located outside your country, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Our analytics are aggregate and are not used to track you across other websites.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from your Account page — this removes your profile, saved prompts, and subscription record, and cancels any active subscription.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by emailing hello@motionkit.co.

Children

MotionKit is not intended for anyone under the age of 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
