Terms of Service
Last updated: June 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of MotionKit (“MotionKit”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use MotionKit.
The service
MotionKit is a library of premium web-design motion specifications, browsable in the showroom and available to AI agents on demand via MCP.
Accounts
You must provide a valid email and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
Plans & billing
- The showroom and open (Free) specs are available at no cost.
- Pro unlocks the full premium library. Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record, who is the seller of record for your purchase and handles billing and applicable taxes.
- You can subscribe monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.
- No refunds.Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Because you can cancel anytime and keep access through the period you've paid for, we do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds.
- We may change prices; any change applies to future billing periods.
License to use the specs
Subject to these Terms and your plan, MotionKit grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the specs you pull from the library — including in your own and your clients' commercial projects. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the MotionKit library (or a substantial part of it) as a competing product or dataset, and you may not share your access to circumvent a plan.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. In particular: no unlawful use, no attempts to bypass plan gating, no automated scraping of the library beyond the intended MCP access, and nothing that disrupts or degrades the service for others.
Intellectual property
MotionKit, its brand, and the library are owned by us. These Terms grant you a license to use the specs as described above but do not transfer ownership of the library itself.
Third-party services
Your use of Polar (billing) and of any AI agent or MCP client you connect to MotionKit is also subject to those services' own terms.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the specs are error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotionKit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using MotionKit and delete your account at any time.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing-law jurisdiction — to be designated], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
